Dendritic Opal, or Merlinite, is a high vibe crystal that helps you be authentically yourself and embrace your true, inner light. It contains manganese and/or iron inclusions called dendrites that resemble tiny fern like branches that make this stone appear to have beautiful little landscapes on it's smooth surface. It corresponds to the crown chakra which connects you to your higher self and the spiritual side of the universe. It is often called the Shaman's Stone. You can use this crystal to open yourself up to gentle wisdom and inner truths while on your spiritual journey that can lead you to your divine purpose. It comes in a variety of colors though commonly a milky white with the inclusions being a darker color. All of the colors are quite beautiful and unusual. This opal is commonly used in jewelry or talismans and can be found in Mexico, the US, and Australia.
This crystal is known to provide protection from negative energy and promotes harmony and balance. It aligns your feminine and masculine energies. Holding the stone during meditation, putting it under your pillow, or placing on your third eye chakra helps you to receive spiritual downloads and trust in your intuition. Astral travel in dreams is possible. Physically, it is supportive for the respiratory and immune systems, ear health, dizziness, inflammation, and reducing stress. It pairs well with Amethyst to work with nature spirits. Black tourmaline combined with dendritic opal will create a shield of energetic protection. Combining with petrified wood promotes grounding and stability. Sandalwood and sage essential oils are also excellent to combine with this stone to amplify it's properties.
